You’ll never catch me

Chasing future trends and staying ahead of the pack is most definitely a fine art and something key to the success of many super affiliates. Others will try and play catch up, copy and imitate but by this time the original affiliate is already on to the next trend and repeating the winning formula.

I came across a (very long) Rudyard Kipling poem today called The Mary Gloster which is about tycoon on his death bed talking to his son about his competitors.

This bit really struck a chord…

“They copied all they could follow, but they couldn’t copy my mind,
And I left ‘em sweating and stealing, a year and a half behind”

I thought it was a good way to end what has been a successful week.

What ever you do this weekend, make it original.
