I was messing around with Wordle before I got to work this morning. It’s a tool (toy?) that scans a section of text, a website URL or RSS feed and then generates a word cloud or relationship map based on word count. Looks like I need to chill out on talking about Twitter!
Is it useful? Well at a stretchy you could use it to monitor keyword density however I’m guessing it’s just a pretty way to map out buzz words.
Here’s what the front page of this affiliate marketing blog produces.

What do you think? Pretty little pictures or something useful?
Thanks

Cool toy… Good way to see if you have been talking too much about certain subjects :)
Hi Forest. That was exactly my thought. It’s no good for pulling any meaningful data (keyword density % for 1 word, 2 word strings and phrases) but it’s a quick and easy way to take a snapshot.
i love this tool. thank you. i am going to use it for a key note speech at Affiliate Convention in Denver in June… any others i need to know?
