Tube: Dove Evolution Commercial
As some of you may have gathered due to a growing number of “tube” posts I’m a big fan of the youtube.com website and even more so when the videos are thought provoking or contain a certain level of creative flair. The latest entry features a commercial, produced by Ogilvy for the cosmetics brand Dove. Watch how a seemingly “ordinary” lady is transformed through to super model status, appearing on a billboard in 60 seconds with a little help of some computer trickery and sped up animation. No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted!
