Apple get creative with video ads
You have to give it up to the creative guys at Apple, it’s seems like everything they put out there in the public domain hit’s the ground running, oh… and you’ll be glad to hear I’m not talking about the massively hyped iPhone.
If you didn’t know already I’m a big Mac fan and haven’t looked back since the switch almost a year ago. Having recently upgraded to the new Leopard OS I haven’t experienced a single glitch and my work continues to be as productive as ever if not better. I wouldn’t expect anything else to be honest.
So what’s got me blowing the Apple trumpet today?
Well it’s with a smirk on my face that I type this having just spotted a dual banner advertisement featuring the ‘Hey I’m a Mac, and I’m a PC’ guys arguing about which OS is the best. “Nothing new here” you say. True, but the reasoning for this post is the extremely clever use of dual ad placement and the synchronisation which takes place. The way the right hand box and leader board placements interact is what really made it for me. The creativity and strategy behind this is perfectly executed and surely another thorn in the side of Vista.
A screen capture of the full video ad can be seen below.
