Free Page Peel WordPress Plugin

Page Peel ads are a great way of serving creative in an attractive and non-obtrusive manner but more importantly a way to yield high click through rates. Popups, banners, interstitials are soooo yesterday, it’s all about those dog eared corners and the goodies that lie beneath!

There are a number of scripts and products on the market that will help you achieve this effect such as this, this and many more but as always there’s a cost involved.

Until today that is when I found this little gem which is not only free but it integrates seamless as a WordpPress plugin and Joomla module to boot!

Download the Page Peel WordPress Plugin

You can see it in action in the top left right corner of this blog where I’m promoting the Free £50 Yahoo offer.

A slight word of warning – when creating your underlying graphics remember that only 50% of the image will appear so your main offer and ad copy should all be positioned as close to the corner of your image as possible.

Enjoy, and let us know what you think?

I agree whole heartedly that this is a good idea and even better that there’s a WP plugin. However, what frustrates me is that insufficient merchants are generating creatives for it.

Webgains recently introduced pagepeel links for our affiliates to use. Currently, the following merchants provide them: viking, viking ireland, I subscribe, my memory, bounty bay, the retail factory.
Many more merchants have expressed interest in the link as well

    thanks
