I normally steer well clear of these chain mail type blog posts but given that I’m really enjoying blogging again why the heck not. Rob Berrisford tagged me in his last post so in line with the game rules here’s 7 things you probably don’t know (or care to know?) about me.

Here we go

1) I was an absolute tear away as a child and have lost count of the amount of times I’ve been arrested. Thankfully I learned my lesson just in time and got things back on track. I guess that’s what happens when you hang out with the very wrong type of people.

2) At Uni (University of Surrey) I studied all manner of things including neurology, microbiology, pathology, microbial physiology and pharmacology. However, the thought of probing bacteria for the rest of my life wearing goggles and a lab coat soon put a halt to that as a career.

3) I lived in Germany for 16 years and rather embarrassingly can’t speak German. I did however develop an unhealthy addiction to Curry Wurst and Jaeger Schnitzel. Berlin, Bielefeld, Gutersloh, Minden, Mulheim, been there done that. I still visit Germany several times a year.

4) I’m a life long Man City fan who on a weekly basis bring me to tears and make me laugh with their rollercoaster antics. Long may the circus ride continue. I don’t know what it is but Man City seem to have a bit of a following in the affiliate world, Matt Bailey (i-level), Ewan Darby (Neo@Ogilvy), Pete Mycock (Platform A). All top blokes.

5) I used to make breadcrumbs for a living. It was only a summer job as a teenager but crazily enough I used to get paid about £13 per hour. This was back in the day when £5 minimum wage had just been introduced. Hardly a playboy lifestyle but seriously, breadcrumbs? That’s over £27k a year and I was only about 15 years old. Happy days.

6) My nickname is Fishboy and no I’m not telling you why.

7) When people try and take pictures of me drunk I can’t resist doing a blower, even if it’s a wedding. Exhibit A…
